A trip to collect miles and experience, for nautical training and ideal as preparation for further licences such as SSS / SHS or the English Yachtmaster licences Offshore and Ocean and also take a step on your way to become a MARA1ONE-certified crew or skipper.
End of Season Special
In late October we set sails in Olbia with destination Marina di Ragusa in Sicily.
Depending on the weather we have different route options.
Though the direct distance is just about 360 nautical miles, which could be covered in less than three days, we will sail a lot more and have scheduled 10 days for this leg.
This gives us enough time to choose a nice weather window and also explore some interesting places en route.
You will be part of the watch-crew and if you like you can be actively involved in navigation, weather routing, manoeuvres or at the helm.
This cruise is of special interest for those sailors who really love being at sea - sometimes day and night.
It could become physically and psychologically challenging as we are approaching the mediterranean winter.
We do not yet know where we are going to stop during the trip. It could be in the bays of the glamourous Costa Smeralda, in the lively town of Cagliari or in one of the picturesque ports of Sicily, with the option to explore the island and visit Mount Etna or the achaeological sites of Agrigent.
