Nachdem wir bei der letzten Fahrt mit dem Dinghi so nass geworden sind, haben wir uns auf die andere Seite von St. Anne gelegt. Wir sind jetzt nur noch 10 Minuten von Le Marin entfernt und auch die Wellen sind hier dann nicht mehr so hoch... Aber vor Wasser von oben schützt auch das nicht.
Gestern Abend kam ein Schiff der Spliethoff Reederei an. Heute Morgen konnten wir dann beim Kaffee beobachten, wie die Segelyachten verladen und an Bord festgemacht werden. Das ist wirklich etwas, was wir noch nicht gesehen haben. Die Spliethoff Reederei ist auf den Seetransport von Yachten spezialisiert, aber das die Yachten vom Wasser aus auf das Schiff gekrant werden, ist schon etwas besonderes.
After getting so wet on the last trip with the dinghy, we moved to the other side of St. Anne. We are now only 10 minutes away from Le Marin and the waves are no longer so high here... But even that doesn't protect us from water from above.
A ship from the Spliethoff shipping company arrived yesterday evening. This morning we were able to watch the sailing yachts being loaded and fastened on board over coffee. That really is something we haven't seen before. The Spliethoff shipping company specializes in the sea transport of yachts, but the fact that the yachts are craned onto the ship from the water is really something special.
