Durch die beiden Feiertage - 6. Dezember und 8. Dezember - verzögern sich die Arbeiten. Der Gefrierschrank wird Ende der Woche fertig und der Schweißer für das Edelstahlgestell kommt Donnerstag. Wir nutzen die Zeit und machen einen Ausflug nach Alicante.
Das Wetter hält sich weiterhin und wir genießen einen freien Tag in Alicante. Wir spazieren durch die Altstadt und wandern auf die Burg. Es war einfach traumhaft!
Unsere kleine Crew - 2 französische Hitchhikerinnen werden uns auf dem Weg auf die Kanaren unterstützen und unser erster Gast für die Atlantiküberquerung ist auch schon da - wächst langsam zusammen. Bordsprache wäre eigentlich Englisch, aber es wird dann doch mehr Französisch gesprochen. Nicht gerade meine Stärke, aber ich wollte neue Menschen kennenlernen, da wird mich so ein kleines Sprachproblem doch nicht aufhalten...
Due to the two public holidays - December 6th and December 8th - the work is delayed. The deep freezer will be finished at the end of the week and the welder for the stainless steel frame will arrive on Thursday. We use the time and take a trip to Alicante.
The weather continues to hold up and we enjoy a day off in Alicante. We walk through the old town and hike to the castle. It was simply fantastic!
Our small crew - 2 French hitchhikers will support us on the way to the Canary Islands and our first guest for the Atlantic crossing is already there - is slowly growing together. The language on board would actually be English, but French is spoken more. Not exactly my strength, but I wanted to get to know new people, so a little language problem won't stop me...
