Wir sind jetzt seit ein paar Tagen bei Power Boats - zuerst an der Boje, dann am Kai - wegen der Reparatur der Klimaanlage, die läuft nur mit Wasser, daher ist es sinnvoll die noch checken zu lassen während das Boot im Wasser liegt - und jetzt soll es an Land gehen. Gestern mussten wir einen ersten Versuch abbrechen, bei Power Boats werden Katamarane mit einer Art Gabelstapler aus dem Wasser gehoben und nicht in Schlingen an einem Hebekran. Unsere FRIENDSHIP ist wohl an der Grenze dessen, was möglich ist, und gestern mussten noch einige Anpassungen vorgenommen werden. Wir haben die Nacht dann vor dem Supermarkt verbracht und jetzt geht es wieder los.
Wir sind jetzt schon "aufgebockt" und werden langsam aus dem Wasser gezogen - das ist ganz schön spannend...!
We've been at Power Boats for a few days now - first at the buoy, then at the quay - because of the repair to the air conditioning system, which only runs on water, so it makes sense to have it checked while the boat is in the water - and now it's time to go ashore. Yesterday we had to abort a first attempt, at Power Boats catamarans are lifted out of the water with a kind of forklift and not in slings on a lifting crane. Our FRIENDSHIP is probably at the limit of what is possible, and a few adjustments had to be made yesterday. We then spent the night in front of the supermarket and now we're off again.
We are already "jacked up" and are slowly being pulled out of the water - it's quite exciting...!
