Regenzeit - jeden Tag der Wechsel von sintflutartigen Regenfällen und strahlendem Sonnenschein. Das kann ganz schön nerven. Wir sind zwar noch nicht bei so problematischen Punkten wie Antifouling oder polieren der Rümpfe, aber es gibt genug andere Dinge, bei denen der Regen die Arbeit immer unterbricht oder unmöglich macht. Sobald es anfängt zu regnen, rennt immer einer von uns los und schließt erstmal wieder alle Luken, wenn es dann aufhört und die Sonne wieder scheint, wird wieder alles geöffnet, denn sonst staut sich die Wärme im ganzen Schiff. Das machen wir dann so 3 - 4 Mal am Tag.
Morgen wird bestimmt besser.
Rainy season - alternating between torrential rain and bright sunshine every day. That can be quite annoying. We haven't yet got to such problematic points as antifouling or polishing the hulls, but there are plenty of other things where the rain always interrupts work or makes it impossible. As soon as it starts to rain, one of us always runs off and closes all the hatches again, then when it stops and the sun shines again, everything is opened again, because otherwise the heat builds up in the whole boat. We do this 3 - 4 times a day.
Tomorrow will certainly be better.
