Wir liegen jetzt seit zwei Tagen vor Vonitsa vor Anker. Vonitsa ist eine positive Überraschung für uns, wir hatten nicht viel erwartet, ein kleines Dorf mit einer kleinen Marina - wieder so eine halbvollendete Angelegenheit - und ein paar Tavernen. Aber hier gibt es einen großen Strand, der wohl vor allen Dingen von Griechen geschätzt wird, ein paar mehr Tavernen und Bars, eine große Freiluft-Bar / -Disco und eine halbvollendete Marina...
Der Ankerplatz ist ruhig und so kann Rainer sich mit dem Steuerrad beschäftigen. Bisher besteht das Steuerrad aus blankem Stahl, was unangenehm sein kann und sich auch nicht so gut anfühlt. Wir haben überlegt, was man da machen kann, eine Lederbeschichtung, Stoff, o.ä., aber das ist alles mit viel Aufwand verbunden und wird wahrscheinlich nicht so optimal sitzen. Dann hatte Rainer die Idee mit der Sisal-Ummantelung - nur nicht mit Sisal. Auch langwierig, aber wirklich chic und ordentlich, oder?
We've been anchored off Vonitsa for two days now. Vonitsa is a positive surprise for us, we hadn't expected much, a small village with a small marina - another incomplete affair - and a few tavernas. But there is a large beach here, which is probably particularly popular with Greeks, a few more tavernas and bars, a large open-air bar/disco and an incomplete marina...
The anchorage is quiet, so Rainer can keep himself busy with the steering wheel. So far, the steering wheel has been made of bare steel, which can be uncomfortable and doesn't feel so good. We thought about what we could do, a leather coating, fabric, etc., but it all involves a lot of effort and probably won't fit as well. Then Rainer had the idea of a sisal coating - but not with sisal. Also time-consuming, but really chic and neat, isn't it?
