Ein sehr ruhiger Morgen - alles schläft und die FRIENDSHIP gleitet mit 6-7kn Fahrt gen Horta. Rundum ist es zwar recht bewölkt aber über uns scheint die Sonne und ein halbwegs stetiger NW-Wind
zwischen 3-4 Bft gibt genug Power, dass wir mit Reff 3 im Groß und 60% Genua dennoch gut vorwärts kommen.
Beim Blick auf die Karte und nur noch 777 sm bis Horta ist die Verführung groß, jetzt nochmal richtig Gas zu geben, um ganz bald da zu sein.
Da aber mittlerweile doch alle ein wenig die Strapazen der letzten 10 Tage in den Knochen haben, segeln wir recht konservativ, um Material und Crew zu schonen.
ETA sollte nach aktuellem Stand der 21.04. in den frühen Morgenstunden sein.
Ich werde jetzt ein Müsli und die Ruhe genießen und wünsche euch auch einen ruhigen, erholsamen Sonntag.

A very calm and quiet morning, everyone else is sleeping and FRIENDSHIP is gliding
at 6-7kn speed towards the Azores. It is quite cloudy all around, but right above us the sun is shining and a pretty stable NW-ly breeze of 3-4Bft gives us enough power to move well forward,
though being with the main in 3rd reef and only 60% of the gib are furled out.
Eyeing the chart and only 777nm left to Horta, the temptation to go full power and arrive there quickly is big.
But as everyone here has the tiredness of the last ten days in their bones, we choose to sail quite conservative to keep it easy and safe for boat and
crew.
ETA should be 21st April in the early morning hours, according to the latest calculations we’ve done.
I will enjoy my Muesli and the quietness now and wish you all also a calm and refreshing Sunday.
