Die erste Nacht zurück an Bord war ruhig. Wir waren beide erledigt und einfach nur froh, endlich da zu sein. Heute Morgen haben wir dann erstmal das Auto leergeräumt und alles an Bord der FRIENDSHIP gebracht.
Danach sind wir zum Frühstücken gegangen und haben uns durch das Segelmeer der Laser gemogelt. Hier stehen bestimmt um die 200 Laser aufgeriggt und fertig zum Segeln auf der Promenade. Rainer hat sich mal erkundigt und hier finden dieses Wochenende die Italienischen Meisterschaften statt. Da haben wir uns genau den richtigen Zeitpunkt für unsere Rückkehr ausgesucht! Leider kann man die eigentlichen Wettkämpfe nicht wirklich beobachten, da die zu weit draußen statt finden. Man kann da viele Segel sehen und sonst nichts erkennen. Aber wir finden es trotzdem toll und lassen das Treiben auf uns wirken. Es macht einfach Spaß, die ganzen Vorbereitungen hautnah mitzuerleben, wie schnell die Boote zu Wasser gelassen und hinterher auch wieder rausgeholt werden. Das sieht einfach professionell aus.
The first night back on board was quiet. We were both exhausted and just happy to finally be there. This morning we emptied the car and brought everything on board the FRIENDSHIP.
We then went for breakfast and made our way through the sea of lasers. There must be around 200 Lasers rigged and ready to sail on the promenade. Rainer had made some enquiries and the Italian championships are taking place here this weekend. We picked exactly the right time to return! Unfortunately, you can't really watch the actual competitions as they take place too far out. You can see a lot of sails and nothing else. But we still think it's great and take in all the action. It's just fun to see all the preparations up close, how quickly the boats are lowered into the water and taken out again afterwards. It simply looks professional.
