Summertime Cruises in the Ionian Sea
The Ionian sea, shelterd by the main land on the East side and protected by a chain of islands to the North and West is a very relaxing cruising area. Short distances from one destination to the next and many sheltered bays and a steady wind pattern from May through September are the best ingredients for an easy cruise with plenty of time to explore the islands, engage in watersports or just hang out on deck, take in the scenery while sipping a glass of wine.
Our cruises take us to the islands of Lefkas, Meganisi, Ithaka, and Kefalonia, to mention just a few of them.
When high season starts and it is getting a bit too crowded on the islands we enjoy the freedom to head eastwards into the not so busy gulfs of Patras and Korinth. There are hidden gems to be discovered, anchorages like Ormos Oxeias or small towns like Mesolongi and Galaxidi are on our itinerary. This leg presents very good opportunities to visit places like Olympia or Delfi.
We will sail under the world's second longest cable-stayed bridge, the Rio Andorrio Bridge and pass through the spectacular Corinth Canal on our way towards the Aegean Sea.

Summertime Cruises in the Aegean Sea and around Peloponnese
With the height of summer arriving we start our cruises in the Aegean sea. Due to the stronger and more frequent winds we will enjoy sailing in breezy air. All cruises are planned in a way that even with a Meltemi (frequent strong wind in this part at this time of the year) there are always comfortable day trips with plenty of options to sail or anchor in sheltered waters.
Zea Marina with easy access to the center of Pireus or as starting point for a tour to the Akropolis, the celebrity-islands of Mykonos and Ios, or Naxos with its whitewashed, cube-shaped houses and medieval Venetian villas in Chora are some of the fancier places we will visit.
With each trip we will also anchor in quiet bays and small fishing villages
Other Highlight destinations are Milos-Island with spectacular caves, where we can drive in with our tender or some of the uninhabitet secret little islands. Let yourself be surprised.
End of August we start our return-trip towards the Ionian Sea from Ios, via Milos and around the Peloponnese with stops e.g. in Elafonisis, Koroni or Kyparrasia and Kalithea.
